This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you visit capture-rent.hr or rent equipment from us.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Booking details: name, email address, phone number, billing address, rented equipment, rental dates and order history.
- Rental agreement: the identity document details needed to complete the rental agreement at pickup.
- Payment: bank transfer details as shown on your payment (we do not process card payments on this website).
- Communication: messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: cookies necessary for the website and the shopping cart to work (see our Cookie policy).
3. Why we use your data
- To process your booking, prepare the rental agreement and hand over the equipment (performance of a contract).
- To issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- To answer your questions and keep you informed about your booking (performance of a contract and legitimate interest).
- To protect our equipment and resolve any damage or loss (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as needed: our web hosting provider (MyDataKnox, Croatia), our email provider (Google Workspace), our bank, our accountant, and authorised service centres if equipment needs repair. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking and invoicing records for as long as Croatian accounting law requires. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, and then deleted.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@capture-rent.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page.
